About Skye White
Therapy is a fascinating journey of self-discovery. Bearing witness to this unfolding process is a true honor.
As a therapist, I seek to provide compassion, empathy, and genuine human connection. I create an environment that allows people to feel comfortable letting down their walls in order to heal.
Each person who finds their way into my office is treated with respect and offered a safe, non-judgmental space. Our goal is to overcome your struggle with an expanded sense of inner strength.
I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (#107192) registered through the California Board of Behavioral Sciences who is currently working under the supervision of Dr. John McConnell (PSY 10673).
Using an evidence-based therapeutic approach, we will uncover what keeps you stuck and work together to develop a unique treatment plan that can help you overcome these obstacles, meet your goals, and create the life you’ve always wanted.
While exploring the past can be helpful to provide context and paint a picture of how you ended up where you are, I believe true healing happens right here, right now, in the present moment.
In therapy, I utilize mindfulness techniques to help clients tap into their inner world. This practice can help us understand what is happening, make peace with, and let go of what is holding us back from creating the life we dream of.
I am here to walk beside you and help you heal from the past while charting a new course for the future.
I have advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy, a scientifically supported model designed to help couples reconnect and work through life’s most difficult situations. Doing this work can help partners identify unmet needs and shake up old patterns that keep them stuck in conflict.
I can assist you in developing new skills, communicating more openly, and deepening your bonds with loved ones.
